Information on the Data Protection Policy for the Website, Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The protection of your personal data and privacy is important to us. We, ILF Group Holding GmbH (“ILF”), would like to inform you below about how we handle your personal data when you visit the website of the ILF Group.
1. What is Personal Data?
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, contact details, billing data, IP address).
2. How is your Data processed and for which Purposes?
2.1 Data processing to ensure the functionality of the website
Each time the ILF website (“website”) is accessed, data is automatically stored using cookies. Cookies are text files that are saved/stored locally in the cache of the browser used. Cookies generally remain stored locally on the end device until they are deleted or their validity period has expired.
ILF only uses technically necessary cookies on the website. These are essential to ensure the proper functioning of the website and to increase its user-friendliness. Stored data may include, among other things, the IP address, browser type and version, time, date and the website from which the user was redirected to the website. As the IP address is stored in an anonymous form, it is not possible to identify visitors personally, even in conjunction with other data collected.
ILF uses the following cookies to ensure the functionality of the website:

- Purpose: Stores the user’s current session.

2.1.1 Web analytics using Matomo
ILF uses the open source software tool “Matomo” for web analysis purposes. The service provider responsible for the processing is “InnoCraft Ltd, 7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand”. Matomo’s privacy policy can be found at: https://matomo.org/privacy-policy/.
ILF uses this analytics service to collect information about website usage and for statistical purposes. Matomo is used entirely without cookies (“cookieless tracking”) and using completely anonymised browser data. Matomo therefore does not process any personal data.
2.2 Data processing relating to communication by e-mail or other channels of communication
When any form of written contact is made, the contact details provided in the written communication will be processed for the purpose of dealing with the corresponding enquiry. In the case of telephone calls, the personal data required to process and forward the respective phone call will be processed – in particular, e.g. name, contact details, reason for the call and time.
3. Legal Basis for Data processing
The legal basis for the processing of data for the above-mentioned purposes is as follows:
According to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, processing is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject
According to Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR, processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which ILF is subject, or
According to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by ILF, namely to operate the website in the most user-friendly manner possible.
If the processing of data is based on consent from a data subject, this consent can also be the legal basis for data processing (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
4. Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Data
In order to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, it may be necessary in some cases for ILF to disclose your data to the recipients listed below. Processors commissioned by ILF (e.g. IT service providers) will receive your data if they require this data to provide their respective services. All processors have been carefully selected and any data processing is always carried out on the basis of the applicable legal provisions. The processors are not permitted to use your personal data for their own purposes.

In accordance with the statutory provisions, if recipients of personal data are located in countries outside of the European Union “EU” (in which applicable laws do not offer the same level of protection as the laws of the respective data subject’s home country), personal data will only be transferred if the European Commission decides that the third country has an adequate level of protection (Art. 45 (3) GDPR), if appropriate safeguards have been agreed with the recipient (Art. 46 GDPR), if binding corporate rules are implemented (Art. 47 GDPR) or if there is a derogation for specific situations in accordance with Art. 49 GDPR.
5. Retention Period
We only store personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected. Personal data will therefore be erased if the retention of the personal data is no longer necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected, and if no statutory retention obligations or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims excludes the erasure of personal data.
6. Rights of the Data Subject
According to the GDPR, data subjects have the following rights (with the exception of those listed in the respective regulations): right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), right to object to the processing of personal data (Art. 21 GDPR), and right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
